A downloadable game for Windows

Hey guys, here's a new shoot-em-up game made in Ruffle for the Flash Forward Game Jam on Newgrounds! I plan to someday make a much bigger version of this game, but for now, this version is a complete and polished package.

You've got a bunch of control schemes to choose from - I recommend the 3rd one, personally.  I strongly suggest playing on a PC with a mouse.

Oh, and you can press R to end a level instantly, and right-click to go into fullscreen mode!

Despite being a fairly quick project, there's quite a lot of content if you want to 100% it.

Sadly I had to re-use backgrounds and music from my other games, as there wasn't enough time to make new ones. :P

When i go to download it it just starts playing music?

Ahoi, I found this a very unique and refreshing play. Love the art and MUSIC too! Unfortunately the bliss keeps getting interrupted by random freezing with ruffle. I recon after about 2-5min.

However using the link provided in Bullet Heaven 3's comment I have been able to run the game just fine.  Hope this helps :)

All the best Matt

Ayyy, very nice idea so far! Would most definitely love to see a full fleshed out game around this as well. Though one problem that I've encountered is that it... sorta crashed. I got to the third stage and bought two upgrades: damage and item magnet, and either the game itself crashed or Ruffle crashed. Just thought I'd let ya know, in case it helps!

usually not the type of game I enjoy - This is the only game of its genre I actually enjoyed playing through.

Great work. Really good for a prototype.  With flash I can even play it on an old early 2009 Mac Mini (tho the quality should be set to low if you're as crazy as me and want to try it out for yourself, otherwise it will slow down a lot... also don't try to use the slowdown to cheat - the slowdown changes to slower and faster randomly so you're better off not trying to cheat).

Like the EBFs and this Bullet Heaven. - this is one of the devs that don't put microtransaction bs into games you already paid for - I am thankful for that.

a different approach to the old ones but overall very good.

Hey, when I try to open the game, it opens a window for a split second, then the window immediately closes. I'm on Windows 8.1, btw. Might just happen cause my PC's a potato though.

Yeah, I'm not sure what causes that. I'll have to ask the Ruffle team - it's still a work in progress!

hell yeah we got bullet heaven 3

For the moment, this can runs(might not provides the best experience) if Ruffle doesn't works at all: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html

Also, I'm not sure uploading a binary of Ruffle is a good idea instead of providing a link since there's no stable release of Ruffle available.

hello, when i try to run the game with Ruffle the game don't start, just open a window and close immediately :P

Huh, that's weird. What operating system are you using?

I am using Windows 8.1, if I use the ruffle demo, the browser version, the game works without problems, by the tests I did the download version of Ruffle is not working for me, no game I tested worked.
